Rebooting Governance: A Vision for Secular, Inclusive Leadership in Deerfield Beach.

As a candidate, I’m keenly aware of how readily society accepts public officials from traditional religious backgrounds — Christian, Jewish, and sometimes Muslim, though often with reservations. But when someone with a non-traditional views steps up, it truly raises eyebrows and “shakes things up” for the better.

Respectful Governance

I hold a Master’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics. My work with IBM, Microsoft, and NASA refined my analytical and technical skills in high-stakes environments. Despite what some might view as an unusual theological position, I’m not here to promote any religious practice; my goal is to uphold the separation of church and state, ensuring our schools and your government remains neutral and respectful spaces of all beliefs — faith or no faith. The media has coined my efforts as “malicious compliance”- using existing laws to highlight the very impropriety and hypocrisy that some laws impose on you and your children.

A Proven Leader with a Commitment to Secular Governance and Public Good

There is nothing wrong with religion, but it has no place in government spaces — no sermons, no invocations. Previously, Dania Beach meetings opened with two minutes of preaching. Thanks to my efforts, Dania Beach and five other towns, including Deerfield Beach, now start with a respectful moment of silence, offering reflection without promoting any belief.

Satanology, What Does It Stand For?

A theology of my own creation, Satanology does not stand for the proposition of worshiping an evil entity, or for that matter any entity; quite simply it stands for a strong separation of church and state, promoting secular policies in public spaces like city halls and schools to respect all beliefs. It incorporates the name “Satan” to make people pay attention — and it works. Through our Ensuring Viewpoint Neutrality Across Florida Public Schools project, I defend First Amendment rights by advocating for equal treatment of all perspectives, and fighting selective policies that often marginalize minorities.

From Festivus poles to free speech campaigns, I’ve shown that sometimes the boldest approaches are the most effective for driving change and demanding transparency. It’s a shock and awe mentality, and it works.

How I may personally feel about an issue is far less important that how you, the voter should feel. Your government should serve you and your best interests.

As an ardent supporter of mental health care and affordable housing, I am committed to policies that address these crucial needs. Accessible mental health care and housing stability are foundational to a healthy, thriving community, and I will prioritize them as central tenets of my administration.

I’m running for mayor because I believe Deerfield Beach deserves a bold new leader unafraid to break from tradition and fight for a government that serves everyone.

A Fight for Fairness and Constitutional Integrity

We’re seeing an increasing injection of religion into public education through book bans, restricted curricula, and the influence of Christian nationalism. My ongoing lawsuit against Broward Schools addresses these issues head-on — not to advocate for any belief system, but to highlight the unconstitutional favoritism that’s creeping into our public institutions. This isn’t about pushing a personal agenda; via “malicious compliance,” I have effectively used the state’s own misguided laws to show exactly where they fall short of fairness and constitutional principles, and we are winning.

Defending Democracy: Keeping Education Secular and Inclusive for All

Education is critical to our democracy, and protecting it from the sway of any single ideology is essential. When we allow religious influence to shape public schools, we undermine the secular, inclusive nature of our education system — a system designed to serve diverse students from all backgrounds.

Deerfield Beach: A Beacon of Religious Tolerance and Inclusive Governance

My vision for Deerfield Beach goes beyond our city limits. My goal is for Deerfield Beach to be a shining star on the hill — a model of tolerance and inclusivity that other cities, counties, can look to for inspiration. I want our small village of 75,000 to set the example: a place where all faiths and belief systems are welcomed and respected, but where no single one controls our shared public sphere. By fostering a community where everyone feels respected, represented and treated equally, Deerfield Beach can stand as a beacon for tolerance, fair governance, and a place that prioritizes the well-being of all its residents.
