Chaz Stevens is a Deerfield Beach-based activist, entrepreneur, and civic leader with a nearly 50-year connection to the city he calls home. Known for his bold approach to community advocacy, Chaz has made a name for himself by championing transparency, fighting corruption, and pushing for meaningful change in Deerfield Beach and beyond.

As the founder and CEO of ESADoggy, a mental health organization specializing in animal-assisted therapy, Chaz has helped provide free mental health care to underserved populations, including homeless individuals, wounded veterans, and Ukrainian citizens impacted by the Russian invasion. His work with ESADoggy has fueled his mission to make mental health care more accessible, compassionate, and transformative for those who need it most.

Chaz is also an ordained minister with the Church of Satanology and Perpetual Soireé, committed to protecting First Amendment rights and promoting religious freedom. Unabashedly outspoken and relentless in his advocacy, he’s led impactful campaigns for the separation of church and state, and is a fierce defender of civic rights.

Whether he’s holding local officials accountable, helping transform Deerfield Beach into a destination city, or working to expand mental health resources, Chaz’s focus is on building a community where all residents can thrive.
